Attention Potential Kringle Artisans:

Each year the Kringle Elve's at Haycock Historical Society's Social Events Committee "jury-in" a select amount of vendors to become alternating year participants at our very well-attended Kringle Christmas Shoppe.   Participants must posess the highest quality standards and create their own art or handwork completely.  In addition, they must live in Haycock Township or the contiguous Townships, (Springfield, Bedminister, East Rockhill, Nockamixon) or Quakertown or Richlandtown Boroughs.  If the applicant is submitting in popular medium such as pottery or jewelry, his/her items must be unique as well.  Our space is very limited so we want to offer the biggest variety of talent to our visitors.

There are three dates potential vendors may submit their work to our jury each year.  In 2011, those dates are 10/13/11. 10/27/11 and 11/3/11.  If you are interested in participating, please download and complete our Application to Become Juried For Kringle Form.  Mail it to our address:   HHS,  Post Office Box 715, Quakertown, PA   18951 or scan it and email it to:

Follow up by delivering at least 5 of your currently created items, with the price tags attached, to our Stokes house headquarters  (1398 Apple Road, Quakertown, PA), any Friday between 9:00 A.M. and Noon or bring your items directly to the panel who meet at the same address on the day of the jury.  Please call ahead (215) 536-0364 to announce that you will be bringing your items and to which session.  Sessions begin at 6:30 P.M.. The process involves leaving your items with the panel for about 45 minutes.  Decisions and disclosures are provided within a week of the session.  If accepted, you would have until 11/11/11 to submit your registration form and fee.  The fee is $50.00 to non-members or $40.00 to members plus 25% commission from each sale. Vendors may deduct $20.00 from the registration fee by volunteering to help during the pre-show set-up the week before the show.   Kringle is a "Drop-Off" show.  Accepted vendors drop their items off and pick the remaining inventory up after the show along with their check for products sold.
