Ivan J. Belac
The Intelligencer
Ivan J. Belac of
Quakertown died Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, in St. Luke's Quakertown
Hospital. He was 76. He was the husband of Loretta C. (Palmer)
Belac. They were married 52 years last September. Born in
Quakertown, he was the son of the late Joseph and Katie (Belac)
Belac. Ivan was a member of the Lehigh Valley Craftsman
Guild and various historical societies. He was well known with
the Bucks County area children as the blind potter. He was a
member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Quakertown, where he
was a former church lector and choir member. He was a U.S. Air
Force veteran, having served during the Korean War. In addition
to his wife, he is survived by a son, Marc and his wife,
Darlene, of Quakertown; two daughters, Faith Cope of Quakertown
and Katheryn Gonzales of Northampton; eight grandchildren; and
four great-grandchildren. He also will be sadly missed by his
dog, Ernie. The family will celebrate a memorial Mass at 11 a.m.
Friday, Aug. 14, at St. Isidore's Catholic Church, 2545 W.
Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, where calling hours will be
held from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of
flowers, contributions may be made to St. Isidore's Catholic
Church, 603 W. Broad St., Quakertown, PA 18951.

Ferne Kressler was 91
years old
when she passed away on December 2, 2008. She was the daughter
of the late Roy and Marguerite (McFarlan) Gutshall.She was the
widow of Howard Kressler Sr. She is survived by her two
daughters, Dawn Marie Kressler and Barbara Ann Repash and her
three sons, Howard Jr., Roger and Herbert; her sister, Anna
Fulmer; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ferne
resided in Applebachsville for many years. She was a
member of Quakertown Evangelical Church. She shared the story of
her life and of the Kressler family in our newsletter. She will
be remembered for her love of life and for keeping family
history alive.

The
Peischel family operated a farm on Woodbine Lane for many
years.
The
Peischel boys, Dick and Bill were among our first Charter
Members. Sister, Clementine was for a very long time, our
oldest member until her passing several years ago.
Sadly,
Dick passed away on July 1, following complications from a
planned heart surgery. He was 88. A posting should appear
in the Morning Call Obituary Section within the week.
A Funeral
Mass will be held at Saint Patrick's Roman Catholic Church on
Centerville Road in Wilmington, Delaware at 11:00 am Monday,
July 7, 2008. Dick will be interred at Keller's Church
Cemetery in Bedminster.

Hendricks "Dot" Hendricks, a longtime resident of Perkasie, died
Tuesday, Oct. 24'th in Clare Bridge Cottage, Dublin,
Bucks County. She was 92
