Mineral Rights Issue
We all want to keep the rural charm of our
Haycock as that bastion of wilderness serenity and charm. We
all value our quaint old farmsteads, rural vistas and abundant
one-room schools. For those with an eye to the future, whose
vision might have been clouded by the prospect of getting
royalties from underground sources of gas, please be very
careful before you sign on the dotted line. Please note that
once you have sold your mineral rights, your land may not
qualify to be eligible for open space
