knickers Howard Kressler died recently, buried in cemetery
Springtown.
Think Webster Singer also went to school.
Some were “Surmans”. “Fricks” Mildred, Edgar Helen. Evelyn
Block, brother Francis. Sarah Kepner, brother. Kiniuks girls,
brother. Mendics girls, brother.
Believe teacher was Mrs. Bauman, can’t remember for sure. We
lived next to church. My mother would walk me to school. Note:
My father also attended this school.
In 1930, Stephen and Annie Mandic and children Helen 9, Nick 8,
and Annie 6 lived on Applebachsville Road.
As did Walorslaw and Pearl Kenniuk and children Mary 16, Mike
14, John 10, Annie 9, and Elizabeth 5.
On Pullen Station Road lived Joseph and Mary Surman and children
Joseph 13, Mary 11, William 9, and Walter 7.
Edward and Flora Slifer and children Joseph 14 and William 12.
Joseph and Pearl Frick and children Mildred 7 and Edgar 5.
Herbert and Meda Kressler and children Nina 18, Herbert H. 17,
Florence 15, Howard L. 14, and Montford 10.
