Our next meeting is Sunday, September 25, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Stokes House.
Steve Applegate will give a presentation on the long rifle. This will replace the usual Thursday evening meeting.

One is a flintlock, the other is a percussion, or "cap and ball." He will also bring some of the utensils that  pioneer would have on his person as he travels the wilderness trying to stay alive: knives, tomahawks, bags, pipes. powder horns, and other items of interest. Most of these were hand made by Steve.

Visit The Stokes House this autumn: It is still open Friday mornings 10 a.m. to Noon through the month of October, 2016.

Haycock Township Open House
